Located at the base of the Cape Coral Bridge, Bernice Braden Park is roughly 10 acres in size. It's a small, kind of rustic park. There are no restroom facilities here. There is 1 picnic table.
You can fish directly from the shoreline as well as under the bridge. Fishing is allowed during daylight hours, only.
Dogs are not allowed on playgrounds, beaches, in picnic areas, on nature trails, boardwalks or on fishing piers in the Cape Coral park system.
The Cape Coral Chamber of Commerce is located in this park.

Centennial Park is located on the banks of the Caloosahatchee River in downtown Ft. Myers. There's a lot packed into this 10 acre park.
For the angling crowd, there's a 2 lane public boat ramp and a 200' long fishing pier. Both of these are open 24/7 and have no fees.
The park also has volleyball courts, playground, picnic areas, and a promenade. There are public restroom facilities available.

This 8 acre park is located on the waterfront. The edge of the water has been stabilized with rocks so it might a little challenging to fish from the shore. Fishing from the shoreline is allowed during daylight hours, only.
Jaycee Park has two large playground areas, as well as lots of picnic tables under the trees near the shore. Restrooms are also available.

This park is located on the Gulf of Mexico in Fort Myers Beach. It is heavily used and offers the visitor lots of different things to do. You can go surf fishing in the Gulf from the public beach access. After lounging on the beach for the day, you can rinse off in the outdoor freshwater showers. There's a playground and two large picnic pavillions with BBQ grills.
There's a fishing pier in this park. It's about 600' long and has a "T" at the end, which is about 110' long. The pier is also known as the Fort Myers Beach Fishing Pier.
The park has over 100 parking spaces. There is a fee to park. The maximum vehicle length in this parking lot is 20'. You are not allowed to park a trailer or boat trailer here.

The Matlacha Community Park offers anglers lots of fishing possibilities. There's a fishing pier at the south end of the park. If you have a boat, there's a public boat launch with 30 parking spaces for vehicles with trailers. There is a fee to park. Lee County Parks & Recreation Parking Stickers are honored at this location.
There are pavilions, a playground, and a large green space. There are restroom facilities located next to the Matlacha Community Center, which is also inside the park.

This local Cape Coral park has a ballroom and a meeting room that you can rent. There's an outdoor beach pavillion, public beach access, a fishing pier, a boat ramp, a yacht basin, and a public heated swimming pool. There a quite a few places to have a picnic as well as BBQ grills for your cook out.
Saltwater fishing is a vital part of this community. So much so that this park offers adult programs / classes in saltwater fishing, a fish identification class, a class in night fishing, a program to learn to fish from a kayak, and even a "How To Find Fish" course. Call the park for dates, times and fees.
Fishing in the canals along Floridian Court is allowed during daylight only. Fishing from the pier is allowed 24 hours a day.
