The Bookelia fishing pier is 375 feet in length. Shaded area near end. Fee applies. No license is required to fish this pier as it is included in the admissions charge, this makes it nice for out of state visitors. The last time I was there in 2020 the admission fee was $8.00

Centennial Park is in downtown Ft. Myers and has a lot to offer the fishing enthusiast. There's a fishing pier that is 200' in length. The pier is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There is no fee to fish off the pier. Please be sure to have a valid and proper Florida fishing license in hand.
A public two lane boat ramp is also available that's open 24/7, unless there's a special event going on in downtown Ft. Myers. Boat trailer parking is available, but for day use only. There is no charge to use the boat ramp or to park your boat trailer.
This is a nice size 10 acre park filled with memorials. Picnic areas are scattered around the green space. Sit and relax on the banks of the Caloosahatchee River.

The Four Mile Ecological Preserve fishing pier is "L" shaped and about 230' in length over the Caloosahatchee. It is about a 1400' walk from the parking lot to the pier. The path heading to the pier is down near the Iwo Jima statue. A picnic pavilion ( no tables ) and restrooms are near the parking area. Please remember to have your Florida fishing license with you.

This facility is primarily a boat launch. However, this is a smaller "L" shaped dock that goes around one of the ramps that is legitimately used as a fishing pier. There's another pier here as well. There are restroom facilities at the launch. Please be sure to have a valid and proper Florida fishing license in hand.
There is a fee to park. Lee County Parks & Recreation Parking Stickers are honored at this location.
Lighthouse Beach - Sanibel City Fishing Pier

The Lighthouse Beach fishing pier is 180' in length over the western shores of San Carlos Bay. The pier has a shaded area that is not really in the "fishing zone", fish cleaning tables and restrooms are close by. Please be sure to have a valid and proper Florida fishing license in hand. Just after the median on Periwinkle Way ends, go left and head towards the northern lot which is closest to the pier. Parking is paid via a kiosk system ( pay and display ) and the parking police enforce vigorously, in a way they are doing their own type of fishing!

There's a really nice fishing pier in Fort Myers Beach, technically located in Lynn Hall Memorial Park. The pier is about 600' long with a "T" at the end of it. The "T" is about 110' long. This is one of the few piers that offers some shade for the angler. There's a covered pavillion area at the "T", and another shaded area about 3/4 way down the pier. Please be sure to have the valid and proper Florida fishing license in hand.
The park is heavily used and has tons of amenities. You can go surf fishing in the Gulf of Mexico from the beach access. Or, spend the day shelling on the beach. There are 2 picnic pavillions with BBQ grills. There are outdoor freshwater showers and restroom facilities.
The park has over 100 parking spaces. There is a fee to park. The maximum vehicle length in this parking lot is 20'. You are not allowed to park a trailer or boat trailer here.
Matlacha Community Park Fishing Pier

At the south end of Matlacha Community Park there is a fishing pier. It's about 190' long with a "T" at the end. The "T" is about 65' long.
This park also has a public boat ramp, pavillions, a playground and a large open green area and restrooms.
There are 30 parking spaces for vehicles with trailers. There is a fee to park. Lee County Parks & Recreation Parking Stickers are honored at this location.
North Shore Park Fishing Pier

North Shore Park fishing pier over the Caloosahatchee River is 125' long with a 50' "T" at the end, a small shade structure is at the end also. Short walk from the parking lot. 3 pavilions, picnic tables, No pets or alcohol permitted. You can also hand launch your kayak into the Caloosahatchee River. Be sure to have a valid Florida fishing license in hand while fishing this pier.

The fishing pier at Rotary Park at Glover Bight is a 1500' walk on the boardwalk from the parking lot. A small shaded rest area is midway on the boardwalk. The pier is over the waters of Glover Bight is parallel with the shore and is 60' in length with a shaded portion at one end.

The San Carlos Bay Bunche Beach Preserve piers / docks are easily accessible from the parking lot. A great place to fish while other members of your group are walking the beach, kayaking or exploring other areas. Restrooms are available at this location.

This nice size Cape Coral park has a fishing pier over the Caloosahatchee River that is 600 feet in length with a 200 foot "T" at the end. The pier has a small shaded area in the center of the "T" and fish cleaning stations with running water. Fishing is allowed from the pier 24 hours a day. You can also fish from the shoreline in the park, but only during daylight hours.
The park also has a boat ramp, a yacht basin, a community swimming pool (heated), public beach access, a beach pavillion, picnic areas and restrooms which are located at the beach area.
