Amazing things come out of our oceans and seas. The variety of what you can catch or buy and then eat is remarkable.

  • Fish - saltwater:  most well known include bluefish, grouper, mahi-mahi, mackerel, mullet, salmon, sea bass, snapper, swordfish, tarpon, tuna

Our 8 favorite things to do with salt !

  • Season our food ~ yes, it's too obvious!
  • Make play dough ~ ½ cup salt, ½ cup water, 1 c. flour, food dye - mix
  • Clean cast iron pans
  • Foot scrub ~ 1 c. sea salt, ½ cup water, 2 drops essential oil - mix to a paste
  • Soak your feet ~ ½ c. epsom salt and warm/hot water, essential oil - relax!
  • Homemande ice cream ~ uses rock salt in the bucket...
  • Put it on popcorn! Try all differnt kinds of salt for this!
  • Make salt dough maps ~ 4 c. flour, 2 c. salt, 2 c. water, 2 Tbsp. cream of tartar
