We are a small marina with a boat ramp and four cabins, renovated in 2014 with new piers and dockage.
This waterfront site is our personal home. However, we make the boat ramp available ($5 launch fee), and offer overnight dockage at $15/night. We have four cabins/cottages for rent. Three of the cabins normally sleep four (4 twin beds). The fourth cabin (waterfront and sleeps 12) is rented year-round by a club, and is not available. Each cabin is insulated and has air conditioning, heat, full bath, refrigerator, range, microwave, tv, kitchen, dishes, cutlery, a breakfast table, and an outdoor picnic table.
Rental includes complimentary use of the boat ramp and complimentary dockage. We supply initial bedding and a clean cabin, but no further room service. Cabin rental is $80/night or $400/week, or $400/month if rented for nine months or annually.
People tell us they prefer this ramp to the Rose Bay NC Wildlife Ramp because it is closer to the Pamlico Sound, saves them boat gas, and is sheltered from the Rose Bay waves in rough weather.
We are considering offering hunting leases for woodlands with bear, deer, and turkeys. The tracts are 10, 40, 100, and 125 acres in Hyde County and Beaufort County. If interested, please inquire.
Hyde County is a special place for recreation, wildlife, and artists, and we enjoy helping others enjoy this special place. For guided fishing, we recommend Captain Richard Andrews at tarpamguide.com
