The Ablemarle Sound ofers about 500' of fishable pier, depending on time of year and day, many sections are protected from the sun by the shade of the bridge.
A boat ramp is on site also.

Pier area entrance is ½ mile east on US 64 from the above intersection, on the left before the bridge.

The Manns Harbor fishing pier is about 220 feet in length over water, with a shaded portion about 3/4 of the way out. The Manns Harbor boat ramp facility is almost across the road.
