The May Street fishing bridge is about 160 feet in length over the waters of Hospital Creek, which is just off the Matanzas River and not too far from the St Augustine Inlet. The bridge has fairly wide shoulders and on the north side there are plastic pylons. This is a no frills bridge, as most are. There is a bait shop at the Vilano Landing boat ramp which is just east on May Street. There are restrooms at the boat ramp.
