Leslie Porter Wayside Park is operated by the City of Lynn Haven occupies 6.8 acres. The park offers; fishing bridge ( The Old Bailey Bridge ) a half mile in length over the North Bay, boat ramps, picnic pavilions, saltwater beach, beach volleyball court and restrooms.

The Dan Russell fishing pier is about 1500 feet in length over Gulf of Mexico waters and offers; Fish cleaning table, benches and restrooms. A small fee is charged for walking the pier and the fishing charge is 6 or 7 dollars. When you purchase a fishing ticket on this pier the fishing license is supplied while you are fishing on the pier. This makes a fishing opportunity super easy especially for out of state visitors!
