Amelia Island State Park offers beach driving, surf fishing, beachcombing, swimming, sunbathing, wildlife viewing, kite flying and you can even ride horses on the beach ( regulations apply ). Restrooms and a rinsing shower are on the other side of A1A, there is a path under A1A, always best to use the path. Great link to trail information. On beach parking "Beach parking at Amelia Island State Park is limited to 300 people at a time with a maximum of 600 people per day. When the park reaches capacity at 300 people, the park closes to new visitors. After approximately 150 people leave, the park reopens to allow more visitors."
