The George Crady pedestrian only fishing bridge / pier is the old vehicle bridge which spans Nassau Sound between Duval and Nassau Counties. When the new bridge was built, this was saved for use as a fishing bridge.
Restrooms and a rinsing shower are at the northern end of the bridge / pier, but they can still be a long walk from your fishing spot.
This pier / bridge is 2100 feet in length over the main part of Nassau Sound and we highly suggest that you take plenty of water for yourself. Think about what you will really need and bring it along, this may prevent any unnecessary trips back to the car.
Over the years the southern end and its access have been shut down due to safety concerns with the structure.
