The Carrs Wharf hand launch is along the Rhode River in Edgewater offers; 1 launching lane & seasonal portable restrooms.
Hours are 7:00 a.m. to dusk. Carrs Wharf does not permit swimming, camping, trailers, alcohol, fires or overnight parking. In Anne Arundel County a "cartop" boat refers to a canoe or kayak, although a boat that can be carried on or in a passenger vehicle that can be transported by hand to the water may qualify as a cartop boat.
A fishing pier is on site also.

NOTICE TO BOATERS: Please be safe. Boaters launching at Discovery Village should be aware that there are low hanging power lines at the entrance gate to the parking lot and at the ramp. Make certain that your mast or other elevated equipment will not make contact with the power lines. Please exercise due diligence.

The Quiet Waters Park hand launch along Harness Creek in Annapolis offers; soft launch & restrooms.
The launch site is ¼ mile from the "N" parking lot, so portage is required, remember to bring the wheels if you have them. Restrooms are located in the Visitor Center. There is a daily vehicle entry fee per vehicle and credit cards are not accepted. Canoe/kayak and paddleboats rental is available seasonally.

The Truxtun Park boat launching ramp along Spa Creek in Annapolis offers; 2 launching lanes, courtesy docks, gravel parking for 60 boat trailers & restrooms.
Hours of operation are 5 am – 8 pm (all days of the year). $5 per launch payable via Visa/MC/Amex or annual pass only. Cash is accepted Fri., Sat., and Sun. only from 9 am to 3 pm. Pay and display tickets (from fee collection device) must be displayed on front dash of all vehicles that have boat trailers attached. Annual passes may be purchased at either the Annapolis Harbormaster's Office (401) 263-7973 or at the Annapolis Department of Recreation and Parks, call 410-263-7958. There is an ADA parking spot adjacent to the boat ramps. There is also an ADA walkway to an ADA floating "L" dock that can be used to board boats and launch canoes and kayaks. An ADA walkway goes from the ramps to the parking areas. COMMERCIAL USE of ramp or beach area is permitted only with written authorization.
Stated vertical clearance of the Spa Creek draw bridge is 15' when closed.
