![]() E-mail Bad Juju Charters Capt. Scott Blanford grew up fishing the waters around the Ormond/Daytona Area and fishing has been a way of life his entire life. Whether fishing the many opportunities that this area of Florida has to offer or traveling around the rest of Florida and the Bahamas to sample other prospects, Capt. Scott has obtained a vast knowledge of numerous fish species and various fishing applications. His father, Bruce Blanford, was a major influence on him. Growing up, there was seldom a free weekend that didn't get booked up with a fishing trip. Likewise, all vacations centered around fishing. Through countless hours on the water, Scott has developed the natural instincts that are necessary to be a successful fishing charter captain. Capt. Scott graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Environmental Management and worked as an Environmental Scientist for 2 1/2 years. However, he knew his true calling was always to be captain of a fishing charter vessel. In April of 2009, he got his charter captains license and began taking charters. On January 2, 2010 Capt. Scott married the love of his life "Juju" Cox and therefore, Capt. Scott's charter vessel was named "Bad Juju". Capt. Scott assures his customers that once they are on "Bad Juju," they will have an amazing fishing charter experience. |
